Hauling sawdust

I was surprised to notice a train with several cars filled with sawdust.  I never thought about hauling sawdust before. 

Angel Oak

near Charleston, SC.  Some people say it's 1,000 years old, but others think it's between 300 and 400 years old.  Someone is trying to develop an apartment complex very near the tree, so environmentalists are fighting.  In my opinion, nothing should be done that would interfere with the health of this beautiful tree.

Another big machine

As I have said before I'm fascinated by the big machinery I keep seeing everywhere.  Some of them make me want to climb up on them and see the view from that height.

Christmas bikes

I hope children still get excited about a new bicycle.  If the influx of bikes at Walmart this week is any indication, then children are looking forward to a new bicycle!!!!

November 12th 2011 Camden will host the 42nd Annual Colonial Cup.  It's a beautiful thing -- and this year we should have great weather.

Mushrooms again

I don't know what it is about mushrooms, I guess it's the fact that I rarely see them in a yard.  I love the textures and the color and the size and the shape.
