Landscaping

at McDonald's.  I know these will be even more beautiful as time passes.

I don't know the name of this plant

but it grows freely in my yard.  At first I thought there were raindrops on the greenery, but it's some sort of nodule.  I don't know more than that -- all I know is that I think it's pretty.

A small quilt I made

I don't think it's exceptional at all -- I just like it.

New spring plantings

I am not a gardener -- I don't enjoy working in the yard for any reason.  I don't plant many things, and most of what I plant I manage to kill.  What I am good at is appreciating the work of other people.  When I see a beautiful, colorful yard I really enjoy the beauty of their work.

Here are some newly planted things -- a fig tree and some colorful bedding plants.

Pooches that I love

I saw all three of these dogs today -- celebrated Easter with them.

It's Earth Day

Earth Day is a day that is intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment. Earth Day was founded by United States Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in first held on April 22, 1970. While this first Earth Day was focused on the United States, an organization launched by Denis Hayes, who was the original national coordinator in 1970, took it international in 1990 and organized events in 141 nations.[1][2] Earth Day is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network,[3] and is celebrated in more than 175 countries every year.[4] Numerous communities celebrate Earth Week, an entire week of activities focused on environmental issues. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day.

More tree damage

This past weekend our area was hit by some strong storms.  A family friend lost a couple of major tree limbs. 

Big tree down in Camden park

On April 9 Camden was hit by a big storm -- lots of wind, rain, hail.  There was quite a bit of damage to homes, trees, and cars.  This tree, in a local park, was one of the victims.

Camden's King Haigler Tower

This sign is placed in downtown Camden at the Tower. 

An odd way to transport a vehicle?

Maybe not, but a big truck (dodge) was towing this vehicle.  Just interesting to me.

Another car

I take photos of cars that interest me, not necessarily cars I'd like to own.  I am NOT interested in owning a car like this - it's small and since it's a BMW I am sure it's expensive.  However, it interests me because of the lines, and the oddity of the shape.

Florral arrangement

Isn't this arrangement gorgeous?  I can just imagine it in the center of a formal table setting at an important awards function.

What a pretty arch

She used to have a fence around her yard.  The fence is gone, but she kept this arch -- beautiful, isn't it?
