I have no idea why this bus is sitting here -- maybe it is used for storage.  I just know I would not want to go into this big yellow bus.

A local printing company has ivy covered walls.  I just like the way it looks.

Bamboo at the library

Recently as I was leaving the library I noticed a lot of bamboo, which I'd never "seen" before.  I like bamboo.  I can remember as a kid going fishing with my daddy, and he'd stop by the side of the road and cut down a bamboo shoot to use as a fishing pole.  I'm sure people would be prosecuted for that now.

Sports cars

One day this week I had to go to Columbia Place (mall) and noticed these two cars parked at the entrance.  I love to take a pic of a car -- so here we go.

Update on that mobile home

It looks as if someone is in the midst of updating that mobile home -- to make it livable again.

DOT Blue Tractor

I saw this tractor parked in a field one Sunday.  I guess the job was not completed.

White flowers by the side of the road

I have seen severala clumps of these alongside roads as I drive around town.  I have no idea what they are, but I really like them.

I know I've already posted picx of this beautiful white cat, but I love this shot.  She heard thunder and ran to fine something to hide under -- and there is a bed there for her, which she NEVER uses.

New vet's office

I'm very interested that this old building is being refitted for a veterinarian's office.  I'll have to check it out!!!

Gardeners will find a way

These beautiful, tall blooms are planted at a local strip mall.  I like it.

Destroyed mobile home

I thought this place burned, but upon closer inspection, when I took this photo I could see furniture inside.  If there had been a fire, that furniture would have been ashes.

I love this old grist mill.  My grandparents used to live right across the road.

Recently I was on my way to meet a friend for lunch and saw a blimp.  In my life, blimps are kind of rare, so I took a photo.

An old tobacco barn

I used to see a lot of these, but time and weather have taken them away.  After all, tobacco is no longer a wanted crop, so why have them?

This year's corn looks good to me -- but what do I know?  I hope we get rain soon, so that farmers don't have a losing year.
